17th Annual Festival of Quilts

At Western Canada’s Largest Outdoor Quilt Show you’ll find:
Hundreds of handmade quilts of all shapes, sizes, designs and techniques decorating Heritage Park both indoors and out during this special weekend. Whether you are an enthusiastic quilter or simply enjoy viewing the textures, colours and patterns, there is something exciting for everyone at the festival of quilts.

Don’t miss:

• Merchants Mall – a variety of businesses from across western Canada will be offering the ‘latest and greatest’ from the quilting community
• Workshop – take part in a one day quilting workshop
• Quilter of Distinction – 2012 Quilter of Distinction is Karen Jurek
• Quilt Sales – a special opportunity to purchase select quilts displayed at the Festival!
• Festival Dinner with Entertainment on Saturday, May 26
• Gathering of the Guilds – visit with Quilt Guild members to discover what quilters in Calgary are working on.
• The first 500 guests to arrive between 9:30 -10:30am will be treated to Heritage Park’s complimentary pancake breakfast served hot off the grill in Gunn’s Dairy Barn, with regular paid admission.

If you just can’t see everything in one day – consecutive two day admission rates are available.
